Often a prayer comes into my mind before I know its meaning.
As I am pondering, I think back over the last few days.
One friend said, "I always think that if I can just get past [this current hurdle], then my life will be better. I'm realizing that there will always be a next hurdle."
Exit waiting for life to begin. Life is each hurdle, each victory and the thankfulness to move forward.
Another said, "My husband doesn't worry. But these worry lines on my face show that I do."
Exit worry.
Prompted by family arriving next month, I am in a flurry of reorganizing and purging all those things that have taunted me for so long.
Exit clutter.
What if we could exit these three things? Exiting, of course, would be ongoing, because the enemy of God would keep trying to lure us back into these arenas.
A prayer for us all:
Lord of exits, lead each of us to exit that which has us trapped. Your specialty is freedom and we want to enter in. No exit is ever needed when we remain free in You.Image: www.kootation.com.
