When People Choose to Disconnect

The world runs on missions.

Every company, every government entity, every household, every church, every author--has a mission. There is some reason for the origin and operation of the work at hand.

If your mission, or the one to which you belong, is honest and productive, and is part of God's work on earth, then you will experience two things: passion and heartbreak.

The passion comes from the power of God's love driving your mission. You want everyone to be a part of the circle of community and truth that your operation creates.

The heartbreak comes from the people who enter your mission and then choose to disconnect.

God experiences no less. His passionate mission to pursue us is driven by the incredible power of His love. He wants everyone to be a part of the circle of community and truth that His operation creates.

His heartbreak comes from the people who enter His mission and then choose to disconnect.

We have all entered His mission because we are wired to know Him, so every person who chooses to disconnect has made that conscious decision.

Free will is, at its core, personal responsibility. It carries both a cost and a privilege, and the mission to which we tie our heart will always be the decision for which we alone are responsible.

Don't be frivolous with your heart or the mission to which you belong. We are wired to pursue the best.
